Album Notes

Cory Taylor Cox (CTC) got his start opening for hardcore and metal shows armed only with his acoustic guitar. Several years and several tours later CTC fell in love with traveling and playing his songs for new people.

With the help of friends and family on accompanying instruments Cory released his first full length album "Not Just A Dirty Rumor"

The album tactfully romps through many genres including indie, pop, folk, rock, emo (when emo was cool), americana, and roots making use of clever, pensive lyrics, both acoustic and electric guitars, sweet harmonies, violin, mandolin, banjoy, keys, xylophone, drums, bass, hand-claps, and CTC's signature vocals.

Self-produced and independently released, "Not Just A Dirty Rumor" is a must have for any collection and any occasion whether greeting the day, drifting off to sleep, or planned to strategically play when a significant other upon entering a passenger seat.

Cory very much hopes that you enjoy listening to this album and aspires to sing new songs to you very soon.
