Suffice it to say the entire CD is wonderful, the vocals, instruments, melodies etc create a great blend. Meaning behind the songs?  Subjective according to the listener.  Here are mine.  What are yours?

FANTASY – Track 1
As long we live in a fantasy or in the past, we will see never enjoy the real world.  Reminiscing over a special person from days gone by keeps one from doing so and stops us from moving forward.

FULL OF SURPRISES – Track 2
Maybe a sequel to  “Fantasy”?  Coming into the realization as to whom the other person is, is not who they appear to be.  Hard to accept but necessary.  Full of surprises?  Another chance? Maybe or maybe not.

ABOUT YOU – Track 3
Perhaps a conclusion of the two previous songs, where there is a realization that they were always meant to be, but getting her to understand it if only to be best friends.

BIG OLE WORLD – Track 4
Don't life pass you by.  Life is too short.  You may only have one chance, make it count.

THE WORLD IS WATCHING YOU – Track 5 
A best friend song.  No matter if your world comes tumbling down, your best friend will always be there to pick you up & help you carry on. I would do for you what you would do for me.  When it's my turn to pick up the slack, you just let it be.

NO WORRIES – Track 6
The art of compromise.  I'm willing. Are you?

SENSIBLE SARAH – Track 7
Be who you are, not what others want you to be.  Never judge a book by it's cover, usually there is a gem hidden within a stone.

IT'S SO TRUE – Track 8
Many of us have had a special person in our lives that has come and gone, but the memories remain.  Sometimes love hurts.  However, if it weren't for the negative we may not appreciate or recognize the positive. Sometimes that recognition comes too late and there is no turning back.

NOTHING MATTERS ANYMORE– Track 9
Jumpy beat!  Soul mate/kindred spirits between a man & a woman.

MAYBE THIS IS OUR TIME - Track 10
2 love struck people.  One has waited for the person he loves, perhaps she's conflicted, may afraid.  He tries to convince her that he's ready & maybe this is their time.

WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO - Track 11
A man who thought he knew the woman he was in love with only to come to the realization that she was not the person he believed her to be.  Hanging on hoping things would change.  What are we supposed to do in that case?  Sometimes parting ways is the best then move on.

THE ONLY WAY TO BE – Track 12
Life is too short to waste.  Love too grand to be taken for granted.  Why waste the time alone when you can spend it with some special.  

THINGS ARE NEVER THE WAY THAT THEY SEEM – Track 13
Interesting combination genre of music in one song that works!  Pop, Party music, Rockabilly, Jamaican, Ballad.  When the party's over, is it really?  Maybe not if one finds the right person or crowd to continue an after party?

Full of Surprises - CD Review

"Full of Surprises" is one of the best cds i have heard in a long time! It sounds like Curtis put his heart & soul into this cd. All songs are wonderful & different from each other, a great variety!

FANTASY ~ Love this song,Music is great. Good drum beat. Great guitar solo. Great background vocals. "Twilight Zone" part so cool & perfect for a song titled "Fantasy".

FULL OF SURPRISES ~ Great bass guitar to lead into song, Great music. Nice background harmonies. Great guitar solo in this one too. Curtis' voice sounds especially sexy in parts of this song.

ABOUT YOU ~ Great music, Great vocals. Nice beat. Nice background vocals.

BIG OL WORLD ~ Nice drumming leading into vocals. 
Great music. This is a happy song that makes you want to sing along. Great harmonica playing. Hand clapping adds to happy feeling of song.

THE WORLD IS WATCHING YOU ~ Great melody. Good background vocals. Drums enhance the lyrics.

NO WORRIES ~ Love the way the song starts. Great melody. Love the music. Great harmonies. Another great guitar solo.

SENSIBLE SARAH ~ Love the music. Cute song! Good background vocals.

IT'S SO TRUE ~ Pretty music to lead into vocals. Great background vocals. Beautiful guitar solos. Makes me feel like crying.

THINGS ARE NEVER THE WAY THAT THEY SEEM ~ Neat song. Cute music. Fun ending to the cd with repeat of part of the cd title. Great!!
