Drive Faster is setting a new pace for indie dance rock with their infectious, up-tempo, electric pop rock sounds. Originating in Calgary, Alberta as ‘Supernal’, where they opened shows for Sum 41, Evanescence, and Angels & Airwaves, the band relocated to Toronto with their new name, a fresh vision, and a penchant for burnt rubber.
Having already been aired on over three hundred commercial and college radio stations, Drive Faster is comparable to Metric and The Killers in both style and sound. Angela Saini, Tony Gare, Michael Holbrook, and Jeff Scale expertly convert their naturally high energy into catchy and energetic electro-rock songs that summon your body to move in ways you never knew it could. Angela’s extraordinary vocal ability adds that extra pop twist which separates Drive Faster from the rest of the indie dance rock scene, and has also caught the attention of producers Moe Berg (Pursuit of Happiness) and Lawrence Currie (Sloan, The Cliks).
“The vocalist is just so outstanding. You almost get a rush when you are recording someone like that.”
