Background Processes was recorded during 2003-2009 in Daemon's bedrooms of Chicago and San Francisco. Many of these tracks were commissioned to be used in various film and theatre productions during that time, but this is the first time any of this music has been commercially released. Daemon loves the sounds of vintage synths and drum machines, the instruments that were used to create Background Processes. Truly a geat album. The musical styling of Daemon Hatfield are a perfect mood calmer. The soft synths and beats are perfect for both the beginner and hardcore electronica fan. Background Processes creates a calming, almost surreal, atmosphere and mood in the listener. It is a very uptempo beat and sound and it swims upstream in a genre overloaded with rave-like heavy beats. For a refreshing taste in electronica music, buy this album, Background Processes. It will be a 10 dollars very well spent.
