Album Notes

Produced by Dave Amels and Dennis Diken for Nun Bett-r Productions. The album features Markell on vocals and various instruments accompanied by the drumming of Dennis Diken (famous for as the stick-man for The Smithereens) on every track and the lead guitar work of his fellow-Smithereen, Jim Babjak on a majority of the cuts. Recording took place in Hoboken, New Jersey and Burbank, California. Other musicians who lent a talented hand (or two) include: Chris Butler, Richard X. Heyman, Ed Stasium, Steve Gaechter, Joe McGinty, George Rush and Dave Kean. Music and Lyrics were crafted by Markell with a little help from Diken ("Welcome To The Club") and the combination of Diken & Babjak ("Me And My Big Ideas"). If you like clever, hooky power pop music worth repeated listenings - BIG IDEAS will be a welcome addition to your CD collection
