Can't remember when I've heard a more authentic Country CD coming from someone as young as Daryl. His writing is on the right path and more than adequate already, but will improve with life lived. His voice is honest and big and warm and made for Country material, in my opinion. His choice of covers is excellent, his Devil Woman every bit as good as the original. Making Country music in today's Pop/Rock/Hoohaw Country market is a hard road to go, but if Daryl so chooses, I believe his name is one that could be mentioned when the question is asked, 'who's gonna fill their shoes.'
