Album Notes

If you find yourself being drawn to a song because of the singers voice, you will enjoy this album. If you are mostly drawn to the instrumentation, you will also find what you're looking for here. If Lyrics are your thing, this album has plenty of thought provoking statements. So, maybe you aren't into women singers. Well in that case maybe you won't necessarily want to get this for yourself but I bet someone around you would enjoy it. That in my opinion is one of the great things about music. There are so many different kinds out there, you can never run out of new artists and genres to listen too.
TRAVELER is a diverse album where no two songs sound alike. Overall the album falls in the pop/rock category but easily finds itself toying with alternative, country, reggae, adult contemporary, & R&B . Vocals are similar to Norah Jones, Fiona Apple, Alanis Morissette, Joss Stone, Sia, Jewel, Bjork, Jeff Buckley, & Sarah McLachlan.

It Gets No Better Than This
author: Andrew Abrahamson
About as good a recent CD I have heard, this album is sure to please almost any kind of music fan. Deanna's depth of talents begin with the richness of her singing and strong songwriting. She's a tough artist to make comparisons with, but because everyone seems so eager to get one, I would have to say a little Bonnie Rait with a lot more blues going on. Top to bottom the album is great and worth getting just for her voice.
