Ready to challenge what you thought you knew about jazz fusion? “I Said” is the extraordinary debut project from Milwaukee music scene veterans bassist Chris Kringel and drummer Del Bennett. Bennett’s dulcet and commanding touch on the drums is supported by Kringel’s nimble bass line. Their melodic foundation of bass and drums are amply bolstered by the solid guest performances on sax, guitar and piano.
