Album Notes

Production
The album has been realised under the production of Mr. Kevin Porée, who is a successful music producer in the London scene. He worked – amongst the others – with Paul Young and Radiohead. Kevin has been chosen because his extraordinary ability and blues/rock and pop sensibility made him the perfect man to shape the sound of the album on Desi’s voice and talent.
The album has been realised between March 2009 and November 2009 in the prestigious Berry Street Studio, located in central London and active since 1970.
The studio has seen artists such as Elton John, Radiohead, Freddie Mercury and Barry White.

Musicians
- Desi Valentine (Lead vocals)
- Mosè Tronci (Lead, Rhythm and acoustic guitars): Italian guitarist and song-writer. He has been member of the band Portagalera, active for 10 years in the Italian music scene.
- Phil Knight (Drums): well known session musician in the London scene, and holder of the World Non-Stop Drumming Record.
- Johnny Copland (Bass): Scottish bass player with a Jazz background and an extraordinary rock attitude. He has been playing with Jim Mullen, Frank Gambale and Artcha.
- Melvin Duffy (Pedal Steel Guitar, Lap Steel Guitar): one of the best pedal steel guitarists available. He played in the albums of Joe Cocker and Robbie Williams, with whom he has also been touring for several years.
- Jennifer Tierney (Backing Vocals): Jennifer Tierney, extraordinary singer and actress from Scotland. She is in the cast of the musical Wicked, performed in the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London.

Mastering
The album has been mastered by Mazen Murad, who has been mastering – amongst the others –the albums of Mika, Muse and Earth Wind And Fire.
Back To Me has been mastered at Metropolis Studio in London, one of the most well known mastering studios and acknowledged at an international level. The credits of the studio are countless, and it is constantly visited by many important artists from all over the world.
The album has been mastered in November 2009.

Art Direction
For the Art Direction the project has been looking for the right person in Italy, and has chosen Sara Ferraris.
Sara is an exceptionally talented designer and art director, who worked for many of the most important Italian artists, such as Nek, Tricarico, Allevi and Jovanotti.

Photography
The photography has been realised by John Oakley; John is an eclectic English photographer, active in the fashion, advertising and music fields.
