Dharma Heart Band blends new age, soft fusion, and world music styles to heal and enrich both mind and spirit. Lavender Mood is the debut album of Dharma Heart Band, a Seattle-based duo featuring Frank Poloney and Stephanie Johnson on electronic keyboards and synth modules.

Each composition on Lavender Mood tells a story, evokes an emotion, or summons a revery, with musical originality and charm. As in traditional story telling, each song has a beginning, a middle, and an end, providing a pleasant and often mysterious musical resolution for the listener. Soundscapes of bell-like sonorities are bathed in ambient textures to invoke sensual moods and meditative realms.

The most common adjective applied to our music is “soothing.” Light the candles and incense, and relax your body and soul!

Note: Dharma Heart Band music is played live, without MIDI sequencing, loops, drum tracks, or other prerecorded techniques.
