Based out of Southwestern Ontario, Diesel Dog consists of Doug Burnside (guitar & vocals), Ryan Morrison (keyboards, banjo & vocals), Ricky Neu (drums & percussion), Ian Richardson (bass guitar), and Dale Young (percussion & vocals). The band formed in 2001 but its members have been playing music together in a number of different outfits since the early 1990's. Each member of the band is a talented musician; put them together and the sum of their parts is pure power.


Since its inception, Diesel Dog has played hundreds of live shows. The band's live performances include a mix of originals and covers, along with a healthy dose of jamming and improvisation. Whether they come out acoustically with their hillbilly funk or plug in for a set of electrified roots-rock psychedelia, people end up dancing at Diesel Dog shows. Many of their shows have been recorded and shared with fans eager to listen to the band's signature live sound.
