Album Notes

The highly anticipated second album from heavy-melodic rock band Digital Summer brings more of the high energy rock fans love with just a little more musical dynamic. From crisp melodic singing to emotion filled screams, Vocalist Kyle Winterstein shows true passion in his lyrics and performance. Guitarists Ian Winterstein and Johnmark "Fish" Cenfield (Both endorsed by ESP Guitars) use their guitars as weapons heavy enough to cut straight through the listener. The bass undertone and rhythmic beats of this entire record hit like an army of sledge hammers, due to the instrumentation of Anthony "Guido" Hernandez (Endorsed by Spector Bass) and drumming of Ben Anderson (Endorsed by Pearl/Vic Firth).

With the first single "Just Run" already charting on national market radio and climbing fast, there's no telling how far this album will go. One thing is for certain though, if you liked Cause and Effect, you're going to LOVE Counting the Hours. Digital Summer really delivers on songwriting and performance. I dare you to not bang your head or sing along.

In the end Counting The Hours is exactly what you want from a rock band today. Although there are 16 songs on the disc, you never find yourself getting bored or tired of listening. From start to finish, the band is able to pull different emotions and feelings out of the listener making you anticipate each and every track. It will only be a matter of time before Digital Summer not only take over radio, but take over the world.

Your music is amazing! I bought two of your CDs 6mos ago and neither one has left my playlist yet. The music is melodic and harmonious, the singers can sing, the lyrics are intelligent, expressive, succinct, delicious mad-poetry that gives me an audio-high like no other. Gah, please make more!
