Above the Water was inspired by the struggles we face as a nation working to dig our way out of a socioeconomic recession like no other since the "Great Depression"! The resulting loss of homes and jobs has left many feeling as though they are fighting literally to stay above water. Having heard this phrase used so frequently in peoples conversation discussing their challenging circumstances, I was moved to write this song to inspire us all to focus on the goal, which is to stay above the water, even if and when it feels like your being pulled under. Remember that this too shall pass! The music production presents a strong rhythmic groove with notable drummer, Jeff Davis leading the band ensemble. The live instrumentation provides a tremendous energy and excitement to the track, which was co-produced by Steve Walker and Leo Newton of New Walk Production, courtesy of Global Eye Entertainment , along with composer, Earl Lambert of Global Eye Entertainment.
