Album Notes

Elegance, maturity and excellence mark this impressive debut, Eda’s album is replete with smooth ballads and uplifting urban cuts, all of which convey a positive message for her generation. Despite the fairly predictable style, this debut is a breath of fresh air. Eda offers a gift of 11 tracks equipped by a variety of talented producers and songwriters who help the young soloist break away from the formulaic R&B which is often associated with many singers in the genre. Fans will find that there is an equal split between glossy ballads such as “Won’t Be The Reason” and “Can We Still Make It” as well as the punchy auto-tune pop tracks “Still In Love” and “Overflow”, the boldness and diversity in Eda’s music are bound to attract and impress. Not only does she bring a breath of fresh air but she really comes into her own through upbeat tracks such as “Keep The Change” and “Touch It”, the focus here is on her voice and her lyrics. As an album ‘Touch It’ revolves around the themes of strength and adversity, even though this is her debut, years of previous experience reflect artistic growth and a maturity which enhances the competence of her work.
