Effesenden Music is well known for its unique ability to play many styles of music well. With violinist Wendy Goodwin at the helm, this album transitions beautifully from swingin’ classic jazz songs like A Kiss to Build a Dream On to anthemic string quartet arrangements of Coldplay and Kings of Leon that make the listener want to single-handedly stop global warming or at least vacuum the living room carpet. The songs are tied together by their themes of love and passion and the fact that they are some of Wendy’s all time favorites to perform. This CD is the closest thing (and a much cost friendlier alternative) to inviting the whole Effesenden Music troupe into your living room to keep the mood upbeat, romantic and fun. The artists had an incredible time recording the music and it really shows in the music!
