Album Notes

The instrumentation, artwork and theme of the record is a throwback to a traveling 20s-30s gypsy band, beginning with the opening track of the band rolling into town. The record features 11-plus arrangements of hymns- some of which are often covered, some of which are not. We've played many of these for years before recording them, and above all else, have sought to distance what we do from the tired, the overused and the cliche of Christian music.

As many of us are burned out on the fads of the latest worship songs and the lights, smoke and newest lingo of the churches that use them, we tried to breathe new life into what we regard as the most sacred of musical stories. Great stories are told from different perspectives and different methods, but they are never forgotten. It was a privilege having the opportunity to continue to pass these on.
