Stargazer	Incredible, dreamy album of music I recently received my copy of this Cd and i want to give my first impressions on all of the songs( even though I've heard the clips)...why? because the CD is freaking awesome!! Indescribable: I love the intro..it sounds like something good is about to happen,,then it does! Great keyboard swells. this piece is exactly what it should be ..indescribable! Ocean Dream: Loved it when i first heard it. the full version is beautiful. the flute is great the keys are great. One of the things i love most about it are the beautiful flute trills that the artist puts in. It is definitely my idea of a beautiful ocean dream! Oh and by the way... i love the little haiku's that are in the liner notes. It gives great insight to each song in a very poetic way:) Ancient: I had heard many times from the short clip and liked it a lot. I like the beautiful synth voices they mix very well. Very peaceful, and very ancient sounding thanks to the breathi-ness of Enigmatic Flux's shakuhachi flutes. another thing i want to mention.. i love the overall sound to the album because , to me it has a classic new age sound and feel that i very much love. And that is a compliment of the highest magnitude in my opinion. I was surprised by the intro to Clarity because i had heard the clip with the piano part so many times. it's a beautiful intro sound. The flute in this is interesting too because it has a more rapid vibrato which gives it a nice earthy tone. And of course the piano passages are awesome . Spontaneous of course it is the exquisite sound of wood and wind...or more precisely, breath and instrument. this ones very nice because it's very Zen Enchanted: OK honestly when i heard the clip of this i wasn't sure if i would like it as much., BUT hearing it unfold in it's fullness is pure bliss. It is beautiful and i think it's one that just can't be fully captured or appreciated in a 30 sec clip. I hope you don't mind mild comparisons, but this is one that reminds me of my days of first listening to David Arkenstone 's old stuff. Great great memories. Universes: OMG !!!! I never fully realized how much i love the crap outta this song. the opening atmosphere with ambient rain and distant thunder is perfect backdrop to the lone flute. Then the heavenly bliss is poured on and... from there it's dreamland. Tthe chord patterns and the sounds in this are incredible! then a subtle return to the ambiance..aaah Definitely one of my top favorites!! I found that this one is great to watch the full moon at night wrapped in a veil of hazy mist. Its great . Awake in the Void: What a great spiraling, unfolding beauty this is! I could easily just put on headphones and meditate or relax to this. Again the chords are luscious and the programming is top notch!! the fade out is very nice tooo.... The Sound of Nature Dreaming: This one has remained one of my all time favorites. Enigmatic's flute playing is phenomenal in this and it is such a moving and emotive piece all together.. it just brings pure bliss and enjoyment to the listener .. it's incredible. This whole album is guaranteed to bring peacefulness and pure bliss to all who listen to it. I highly recommend this and hope to hear more from Enigmatic Flux!! Read more...
Sky Watcher	Awesome music I recently bought this album after listening to the audio samples on CD Baby and fell in love with what I heard. Since receiving the album, I must say that the 30-second clips do not do the songs justice. The music on this album is truly some of the deepest and most beautiful music I’ve heard in a very long time. Aside from the great music, there is the beautiful artwork, and what I like the most is that for each song there is an original poem or haiku adding depth to the listening experience! Great music, artwork, and poetry. Something that presently seems to be lost in a musical album. I am a definite fan and really look forward to more from this artist. Read more...
