Album Notes

We are pleased to announce the release of "Epoch", a new recording by guitarist Eric St-Laurent, featuring Jordan O'Connor (bass), Michel DeQuevedo (percussion) and guest vocalists Justin Bacchus, Kgomotso Tsatsi and Julie Crochetière.

• The album "Epoch" features 3 vocal tracks and 7 instrumentals.
It was recorded in Toronto in the summer of 2009.

• "Ngizoya Ekhaya" is an infectious tune with a danceable
groove sung in Zulu by Kgomotso (KG) Tsatsi. A former “South
African Idol” finalist, this gifted vocalist now lives and performs in
Toronto.

• "I Will Follow You", a beautiful and uplifting composition by
Vancouver's Wyckham Porteous, is soulfully interpreted by
Toronto-based R&B/Gospel singer Justin Bacchus.

• "Across The Street", a moving and sensitive ballad, is written
and performed by Montréal native Julie Crochetière.
This award-winning singer/songwriter is about to release her 2nd solo album.

After studying improvisation in New York, Montreal-born
guitarist/composer Eric St-Laurent lived in Berlin for 10 years where he recorded
and toured with some of Europe’s biggest names (and small ones too).
He is now back in Toronto, Canada, where work with his new trio is keeping him
busy.
