Album Notes

A wonderful selection of choral music from Byrd, Tallis and Victoria to Duke Ellington, Billy Joel and John Rutter sung by Exultate Singers, an accomplished choir which has broadcast on BBC Radio and television and gives live concerts in Bristol and around the South West of England.

Choir & Organ Magazine's review of the CD said, "This is a terrific mixed bag of a programme, designed to show off the considerable qualities of the Exultate Singers under their founding conductor, David Ogden. With music from Byrd and Victoria to Britten and Bob Chilcott, there's something for everyone. This 40-strong chamber choir based in Bristol sounds confident in just about anything they perform here; the blend and balance is admirable... The resonant recording venue occasionally blurs their words, but this is to quibble. Warmly recommended."
