ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Faithful Church’s 2007 album is the closest the listener will get to a greatest hits collection. Gog and Song of the Lamb were formerly released on their first album, and Orange County was released as a single back in 2005. As for the rest of the songs Holy Bible Atomic Hell Fire Heat sticks out as the most memorable. The song highlights Terri Mowrey’s voice and Robert Trujillo’s bass playing. Misconceptions and Armageddon are two apocalyptic visions of death and destruction, but the best part of The Final Message is the versatility of the Faithful Church. The band mixes a variety styles and is able to keep the listener engaged from beginning until end. Jose Sanchez is a multifaceted drummer and Craig Conte is an accomplished songwriter. Their rhythm section is buffeted by classical pianist Barbara Wheat and Mike Donohue’s texturing on guitar. Jon Taylor’s singer is admirable, but the addition of Terri Mowrey on this album lifts the Faithful Church from amateurs to well established veterans in the LA/OC music scene.
