Album Notes
Coastlines EP recorded in Newtownards by Paul Steen, during a week of blistering sunshine in the Summer of 2009. Many hangovers went in to the mix, and great effort was taken to ensure we didn't stay sober for long. Very kind regards and respect due to Paul Steen, who made the whole thing thoroughly enjoyable, and who also kept an endless supply of coffee and smokes.
Track one written by Rachel Coulter, the talented lady she is. Tracks two, three and five written by Stephen Macartney, and track four was a very harmonious collaboration between the aforementioned authors.
The artwork is a sterling example of Rachel's vast creative wealth, 'cause she drew the whole thing up on her computer all by her wee self.
All instruments played by the following Farriers - Aaron Jackson on the bass guitar, Jonny Tate on drums, percussion and water trough, Kate Squires on viola, Rachel Coulter on guitar and vocals, and Stephen Macartney also hits a guitar and yells.
This is the first recorded outing from Farriers, there will be others to follow, guaranteed. Thank you very much for taking the time to listen to the songs, or read this.
