Album Notes

The Footage owes its existence to the following events, neither of which happened.

The year is 1960. In Detroit, Michigan, Berry Gordy Jr. signs salty old Ezra Pound to his newly founded record label, Tamla Motown.

Meanwhile, in Bloomsbury, London, T. S. Eliot is showing a young Smokey Robinson into the offices of Faber & Faber.
