Album Notes

Hello friends. Welcome to our CD Baby site. Our new CD is a 2 disc set, entitled: "The Resurrection of Rock and Roll".

Forewarned is:
Steve Supparits - Vocals, Acoustic and Electric Guitars
Kenny Hawkins - Lead and Electric Guitars
George Puleo - Lead and Electric Guitars
Lynn Carol Schriver - Keyboards and Vocals
Andrew Noto - Bass Guitars
Jesse Miller - Drums and Percussion

Make sure you check out more than one song sample. We've got two lead singers, and one is female. This music is extremely diverse, and no two songs sound alike! Hope you enjoy it.

A note about the album cover: We decided to have some fun and hide small references to some of the great Rock Albums that influenced us over the years. Can you identify any of them? If so, how many? Go to our myspace page and leave a comment. The first person to get them all correct will get a free CD set! myspace.com/forewarnedmusic

Over the last two years I compiled an extremely large stock of original music. When we tried to cut it down for 1 CD, there were too many good songs left out, so we decided to do a 2 disc set with 19 tracks and almost 2 hours of music!
(we were over the two hour mark at first, but as with all bands, there were a couple recordings that didn't make the final cut. We didn't want to throw just any song on here just for the sake of recording length, and if you purchase this set, I think you'll be happily surprised with our song selection and layout of the music. It really is a well arranged roller-coaster ride from start to finish!)

Please take the time to listen to all the clips. It will show you just how diverse this band is, and with 2 vocalists, it was easy to make a 2 CD set. Thanks!

ABOUT THE SONG SAMPLES:

RESURRECTION - a fun take on the top 30 music scene today, along with the re-introduction of harmonies without Autotune, and a real synthesizer player. Lynn played this solo in 1 take, with no overdubs!

KMA (Kiss My Ass) - I wrote this song about a couple of bullies I had to deal with throughout my life, one was from middle school, and one was a woman who tried to take my daughter from us. The day I beat her in court, I started writing this song on the way home! The original title was "Kick Your Ass", but I didn't want some Columbine type gun nuts to use it as a theme song, so I changed it to "K.M.A."

LONG TIME - One of my life stories. Wait, who's playing keyboards on this? A- Keith Emerson, B-Dennis DeYoung, or C-Lynn Carol? You be the judge.

REFLECTION - Holy *&@! Lynn Carol. I wrote this one to feature Lynn on vocals, and she really shines on it! A dark story of a teenage girl in trouble.

INVINCIBLE - Our most radio-friendly song. A fun reminiscence of the early 80's, when disco was dead, pop music wasn't invented yet, Rock was on the radio, and hanging with friends was at the top of the list!

UNSURE- This is not only for the girls out there, but guys, if you need an emotional power ballad for intimate times alone with your lady, here it is!

DON'T RUN - I wrote this one for Lynn to sing. A fast moving song, though it's a story about someone who gets back some troubling test results and is afraid to reveal the truth.

I'M COMIN' HOME - This song has a modern day Southern Rock feel. Not only does it feature both Kenny Hawkins and George Puleo on lead guitars, but it is my statement for anyone who's ever been told to "get off the road, cut your hair, get a real job!", etc. I'm NOT Comin' Home!

ANGEL - Don't be fooled. It's not a gushy love song. Lynn sings it beautifully, but it's about a woman at the grave of her husband.

DEMONIC RISE - A serious prog rock instrumental. This is the kind of music many of us live to play.

MAKING PLANS - My other life story. Even though we all make plans, life is what happens at the same time, irregardless of what we want.

HOW WILL I KNOW - When I turned 29, I spent a year scared to death wondering what happens to us after we die. This song is the result of that fear. After I recorded it, my fears were lifted. I hope to someday hear every church congregation on earth singing this song and waving their arms in the air!

AROUND THE SUN - With a lot of heavily storied songs, I needed some fun. This song is about a teenage guy who is desperately trying to get some... Why does it keep going wrong?

SOMEDAY - This is kind of like my tribute to the Eagles and their style of music with great harmonies and melodies. The story is about life on the road.

HEAVEN CAN WAIT - Yes, this is the Jim Steinman classic. With a real piano player in the group, I couldn't resist.

MARCH 1st - A very dark and heavy story of a boy who loses his mother and his legs to a drunk driver. It's revenge or redemption. Our most metal sounding of songs.

Bonus Tracks:

BAT OUT OF HELL - I wanted to pay respect to the Meat Loaf / Jim Steinman classic, while giving this song an incredible new energy and life. Plus, there's not many bands in the country that can pull this off live, and it's a lot of fun!

PRELUDE TO A REFLECTION - This is an intro that George Puleo arranged for a longer "album cut" of Reflection.

REFLECTION (George Puleo extended cut) - Since the extended version of the song was George's idea, I thought it fitting to give him the credit. The single version that appears earlier is amazing, but with almost two minutes more, it gives the song an entirely new emotion and was the perfect thing to end the CD with.

Don't forget, you can get the whole 2 disc set for less money than downloading individual songs! I hope you enjoy it and get a chance to hear the entire journey from start to finish.

Thanks,
Steve
