Album Notes

Welcome to my first Jazz album! I've been singing & playing traditional American music for as long as I can remember. Thanks to some very generous friends who supported me with lessons and nurturing places to jam, I learned to play bluegrass guitar and banjo very early on. Along with that, my parents raised me listening to everyone from The Rat Pack and Rodgers & Hammerstein, Louis and Ella, to Motown and Stax Records.

I've been influenced by so many different styles of music, that now I'm beginning to cultivate my own sound. I'm really excited about the tunes that I'm playing right now, and the musicians I am lucky enough to play with. I'm looking forward to where this music will take me, and who I'll meet along the way. I hope you'll come along for the ride!
