Album Notes
Franks love of radio, fishing and folk music all come together on this recording. I Miss Lake Bemidji has become the unofficial athem of Muskie fishermen world wide. Happy Daze is a street musicians view of politics as usual in his great city. Lonely Loon's beautiful melody will have you floating down a river back to when you were just a kid. Danny Everharts great song and vocal on Tomorrow is Yesterday will keep you from putting things off till another day. Shure and Peavey mic's were used with a Tascam DP-01 and a Boss BR-2. The banjo I used for slide,strumming and picking has no name and looks like a Jap import from the 60's. The Guitar is a 1998 Takamine Limited and soon to be a Martin. The Mandolin is a Greg Bennett design A model and the bass with real dead strings by Peavey. The Dobro was an Epiphone Spider that I sold to buy the mandolin. The harmonica by Lee Oskar.
