Album Notes

After 10 years as frontman/songwriter/producer of the notorious Trash and Roll ( Eureka, CA), Freel Freine steps out solo, again. Following the 2008 release "Shoot the Moon", Freel once more packed up and moved up from Green Swamp,FL to Minneapolis, MN. Upon arrival he set out on "The Death Valley Analogue", a collection of new songs reflecting the geographical and metaphysical journey of the past few years. Song to song, it harnesses this seeming inevitability of life in the 21st Century- no matter where you are, but also restless and relentless in needing to push forward.

Written, performed, recorded, mixed and mastered soley by Freel Freine.
No compromise here- however hazy. 10 realized songs from one of the American undergrounds most consistent contributors- because if anythings certain from the past decade... wherever Freel is, there's gonna be a new recording coming from there, soon.
