Album Notes
The Fright Night ensemble was established in the end of 2005 by a guitar player Marianna Lukyanova. The style of the band is usually described as gothic-rock with certain dark wave elements though in reality the musicians prefer to be trail-blazers and not to restrict themselves by any genre limits. The music of Fright Night is based upon the unity of contrasts- deep low male voice and emotional lyric female vocals; melancholic melodies of beauty with the raw agression of guitar rock. These combinations are meant to leave none untouched. At present the band gives regular live gigs. The debut album is released on 01/02/2010!
It sounds as if Lacrimosa and Skeletal family met and played together... kiddin') in fact all of it is much more harmonious... and more depressive than both.
