The Funky Seeds were planted in June of 2009 in the Burgs of St. Pete. The first year of germination provided The Funky Seeds a chance to splice their diverse backgrounds of Funk, Reggae, Hip hop, Beach Rock, old-school Country, and Blues into a fertile bed of dance-worthy and budding music that is now termed PLANT DRIVEN FUNK! With the Funky Seeds, there is no set list and every show is completely unique. The Seeds make sure the party keeps going and the dancers keep dancing all night long. During an “atypical” night with the Funky Seeds, you will partake in dancing with The Seeds, hula-hooping, toasting in the middle of a song, and be witness to amazing solos, explosive drum jams, a pots-and-pans parade, and don’t forget the epic BOOTY SHAKE!
