Gary has departed from the blues genre on this 4th CD but listen to "Please Come Home" to get your blues fix. This CD is more R&B and soul but loyal fans can still appreciate his sensational guitar skills and soulful voice and new listeners will wonder why they haven't heard of him before.

Great Blues-R&B record. Mr. Gary Clark, Jr. manages to include the best of guitar oriented blues along with some rock and R&B flavoring while maintaining musical cohesiveness throughout. Favorites include Bright Lights, Breakdown and The Life; three songs that in combination perfectly illustrate Mr. Clark's song writing and performing range and he executes all with authenticity.
