Album Notes

"What a beautiful package, from artwork, to text, to heartfelt songs; it is the tribute and inspiration it was intended to be. It is a monument far beyond popular media." David Bean, Artist Airplay, Monterey, Ca. "Better Days" is a "collaboration for the ages" between George Kincheloe, Marty Atkinson, Lisa Atkinson, George's identical twin brother John Kincheloe, George's son Bram Kincheloe, George's daughter Lara Kincheloe, and brother John's children Arleigh Kincheloe and Jackson Kincheloe. (Bram, Arleigh, and Jackson are founding members of "Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds" a hot new band out of Manhattan, N.Y. that recently signed a recording deal with Modern Vintage Records.) The album notes include a gorgeous eulogy for Lisa Atkinson--George's late wife and partner for over 17 years--written by his dear friend Peter S. Beagle, author of "The Last Unicorn".
