Album Notes

Goodbye the Band’s first instrumental LP since 1999/9th grade’s Compositions: 1997-8, formerly available on mp3.com. Some songs were composed for the movie Most of My Memoirs are Plagiarized; many were not.

This has the longest gestating period of any Goodbye the Band album; songs were written mostly in early 2010, with mixing and re-arranging happening sporadically over the second half of 2011. Inspiration and music-love from Max Tundra, Dirty Projectors, The Beach Boys, Trent Reznor/Nine Inch Nails, The Fiery Furnaces, Spencer Owen and Michael Ulrich.
