This is an extended play self titled album that constitutes several months effort from the tried and true Fredericksburg band. Recorded at Wally Cleaver's studios, it is an astounding mix of eight original songs. Ranging from songs about heartbreak, to songs about really bad heartbreak, these are the tracks you will return to again and again to remember periods of your life you would rather forget. Songwriters Ryan and Sean Green split lead vocal duties. The brothers have two distinct sounds, both in what wells up from their vocal chords, and in the words they choose to say. Behind the lead vocals are inevitable harmonies sung by the brothers, as well as dobro/banjo player Michael Emmons whose smooth vocal timbre easily leads itself to Beach Boysesque complexity. With Jonathan Burkett on Drums and Percussion, the band is as timely as an atomic clock, and almost as subtle.
This album came up from just about nowhere but has grown roots and found fans across the state. It can do no wrong. It should be heard. You are missing out even as you read these words.
