This album is the first project of Guerin Bridge Road, a Bluegrass / Americana acoustic musical group originating in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. It includes the traditional and more contemporary tunes as well as several original compositions. Rudolph Rustin plays five string banjo and guitar and performs most of the lead vocals. Scott Fore, from Radford, Virginia, plays lead flatpick guitar and is responsible for many of our arrangements. He is an award winning guitarist and holds many flatpicking titles regionally as well as nationally. John Kennedy, from James Island, South Carolina, adds his special style and rhythm to the group that affects the timbre of the songs. A special guest and friend of the group is Alan Bibey, nationally award winning mandolinist, who appears courtesy of Pinecastle Records. We have thoroughly enjoyed playing the songs included and we hope you enjoy it!
