Mixing a soulful brew of rock and pop with a dash of indie spice, New Jersey-based band, Hartwell engages listeners with an eccentric playing style, supported by a combination of both contemplative lyrics and whimsical song arrangements.

Achievements include top placement (final 3 out of over 120 bands) in Jersey Shows BOTB at The Starland Ballroom as well as multiple awards from Garageband.com, Windrift Songwriting Competition and Mike Pinder's Song Wars.

With radio play on various college radio stations and a steadily growing fan base, Hartwell strives to put on a fun and energetic show wherever there are ears to hear and good times to be had.
