Parents Choice Gold Award. Child, parent, grandparent, teacher, carpool and road trip tested. Written by a kindergarten/preschool music teacher who taught her songs for years and took her cue to record when kids, parents, and teachers made requests over and over for songs about new shoes, fire trucks, trains, ducks, a turtle, rain, tugboats and a variety of other subjects, including a song about a bullfrog who finds love. There's a grandparent/child double song - what's that? the grandmother sings her song, the child sings her song - then they sing together - pretty cool. There are songs to listen to, sing with, and one to fall down to ("The Tired Song"). They have made six hour trips playing non-stop with only a smattering of people who admitted they lied when they said the CD player broke. They are truly ageless and even daddies have been known to play them when there's nobody else in the car.
