Album Notes

"All of the songs are very special to me in different ways. Each and every song has its own story and background. I see the songs as individuals and they are all wrapped up and connected to each other through this album. I had a really hard time choosing songs for this album, because I had written and recorded frequently through a period of three years until I finally put myself together and decided to create an album out of my work. I wanted the album to be a story and the songs to represent their own chapters. The lyrics are very important to me. I want to be able to stand for each and every word I say and therefore I put a lot of effort into the lyrics. I only write about what I feel and know. I see the voice as an instrument and the words I sing as important as the melody I sing them in." / Henri K

Special thanx goes out to Gabriella ”Gabs” Hansson for your beautiful singing on ”Frozen wood” & ”Sam”, Jonas Engdahl for your incredible bass playing on ”Sam” & ”I want you”, Jack Mittleman for your love and for loaning me your fantastic studio, and last but definitely not least my lovely brother Tom simply for existing!!
