'For want of a nail' is the story of a crew, of the Starship USS Farragut, that end up trapped in Earth's past during the American war of independence and have to try to find a way to return to their own time without disturbing the timeline. During their time on old Earth they bump into none other than General Washington himself. Inadvertently Captain Carter provides the solution to Washington's problems in trying to win the war. But will this keep Earths history on course .. or change it forever.

This film has won the 2008 'Wrath of Con' award for best fan film. Hetoreyn's score for this film is 43 minutes of symphonic joy. With lush, sweeping melodies and bombastic drama. This soundtrack is a fine addition to any film score collection.
