Hilary Gardner's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is a poignant and playful collection of holiday favorites. Hilary reveals a deep respect for tradition, while breathing new life into Christmas classics. Album highlights include a swinging interpretation of the English hymn "God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen," a heartfelt rendition of "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)," and a role reversal in "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

Hilary recorded "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" when her brother was in the army and stationed abroad during the holidays. Originally intended as an audio "Christmas card" for troops stationed overseas, over 1000 U.S. troops received copies of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." In keeping with the original spirit of the album, a portion of all sales on CD Baby will benefit the USO.
