Album Notes

When this librarian decided to quit her steady job during the recession for a life of music, some said she was an inspiration; others said she was crazy. Either way, she was determined to record her own album some way, somehow - and she did.

This is her story - a collection of twelve songs which are mostly autobiographical and deal with subjects ranging from love and ambition to politics and mental illness. It draws on influences from across the musical spectrum, from Debussy to Jamiroquai, but most of all it has two things - blue notes, and emotion.
