“In a world of over-produced, self-indulgent pop rock, Holly’s simple, to-the-point sound is a breath of fresh air,” said local musician Josh Seurkamp. “Her songs have the ability to grab you by the face and make you pay attention, her lyrics are compelling and honest, and her story is amazing.”

Album Notes

“Redemption Road,” to me sums up where I feel I am on my spiritual journey. Only a few years ago my life was quite the mess. I was living the typical life-style of a fulltime musician (or at least what I “THOUGHT” a full time musician should live like). I drank way too much, smoked instead of eatting, and had many empty relationships that only led to the bedroom… and to a lonely, broken heart. I was pretty much lost without direction or self-worth. God scooped me up, put me in a safe place to redeem; restore; and bring me back to life. And that is what He has done. He has made me a new creation and sat me back down on the path He had planned for me that I had been derailed from.

The little girl on the cover walking hand in hand with me represents me as a girl. God has been healing me through re-walking me through childhood and early adulthood memories that I desperately wanted to forget. The difference and why I can walk through them now is Jesus! He is my healer; my rock; my savior. He rose me from the dead and gave me LIFE to live in freedom! These songs are a record of what I have been learning and/or experiencing since I became a Christ follower and began my walk on “Redemption Road.”
