Album Notes

Horace Reeves began singing as a child. He was soon being compared to the likes of Elvis, and other great vocalists of the 1950s and 60s. While he was heavily influenced by Elvis and admires his work more than any other musician, his vocal style is all his own. Reeves is also a songwriter, having written and recorded many songs over the years, including "She's My Baby," which was written by Reeves, performed by Horace Reeves & the Happy Five in the 1960's and included on the "Stompin' & Rockin'" compilation CD released by Collector Records in 2004.

Reeves released his latest studio CD, "Memories," in 2006, a collection of some of America's greatest pop hits of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Reeves beautifully covers some of America's greatest hits of that era on "Memories." His distinct, strong and incredible baritone voice pay homage to the greatest vocalists and songwriters of all time.
