Funshine Line

by Hotel St. George

If Gang of Four had met and reproduced with My Bloody Valentine, and if their super fucked-up kids had been raised on The Beatles and Guided By Voices and had managed to live long enough without killingthemselves to make a record, the result might sound a lot like Hotel St. George.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
For Funshine Line the boys of Hotel St. George wanted to make a fresh start. That fresh start began with swapping instruments. The bassist moved to lead guitar and the lead guitarist moved to keyboards and bass synthesizer. Gone is the peppy Brit-Pop sound that they had spent over a year crafting and in its place a new, darker, brooding, saturated sound in the vein of The Chameleons mixed with My Bloody Valentine was born.
