Album Notes

Marionette was a labor of love to record, complete and now release. It was 4 years in the making and about 10 different versions before I was satisfied. The production on Marionette is my absolute best (Of course I think that). I think I really captured my deap orchestrated and operatic style and mixed it with heavy hip hop. I've recorded at a few studios in the Denver area and worked with some of the best engineers I've met to date. David Burr at Studio Bebop. Improv at Tha One Room. Silas Mera at Dub media and Mike Henderson at Plan 9 Studios. Each person helped me realize my vision and these people are often overlooked during record releases.

Being that this is my first release I didn't want to load it up with a ton of features. I wanted my voice to be heard and not rely on other people to sell my music. I put the people I care about most in this world on this record, and it just so happens to be they are extremely, extremely talented. Aerin Gunn on Marionette. Whitney Peyton on Let's Go Girl. Sirreal on Departed. Elijah Pratt on Still a G and Take you Home. And Alicia Bromley on Beautiful Girl.

Marionette is 50 minutes of straight music with no tricks or gimmicks.
