This music collection was inspired by true stories that seem so strange they simply shouldn't be true...
and yet they are. There is a fair amount of 'tongue-in-cheek' lyric content here, and as I worked on the songs I discovered how much fun it is to focus on news stories as fodder for my songwriting. Who is Jangle Pete anyway?
Jangle Pete is basically any band put together by singer/songwriter Tom Hitt (that's me).
I have many opportunities to work with loads of talented musicians from the Erie and Pittsburgh area. Some of those folks helped me with this CD, others I am meeting along the way. Any time those folks play together under my supervision, there you will find Jangle Pete.
