Album Notes

Between 1998 and 2009 I wrote nearly 100 songs and released five albums. 17 of those songs are represented here. My intention was to record each song in an earthy, organic and honest manner. In today’s society of unnecessary noise, excess and commercialism, this simple approach appealed to me. Each song is a snapshot of people I have met, places I have been and various landscapes and roads I have taken. On this album you will hear songs about love, love-gone-wrong, boats, fog, the first hundred miles, being a Daddy and the moon. Some songs were written overlooking the Olympia, WA harbor. Others were written on the central coast of California. Many were written under the shadow of Pikes Peak in Colorado. Wherever the songs were written, I hope you enjoy them and that each little “souvenir” finds a small place in your life. Thanks for supporting independent music.

Well crafted, honest music with a melodic, yet longing quality to it not unlike early Bob Dylan material. Jason's voice rings true and clear, and the arrangements frame the music like the works of art that they are! Especially liked the cuts "Goodnight Suzanne," "Ain't Selling Out" and "Fog Rolling In." BUY IT, I did!
