ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bikini’s, Mountains, Mule’s and Moonshine, Tinsman’s 6th record in his long career, cleverly and eloquently combines Jay’s visions of yesteryear with the sun-drenched days and tropical nights of life on the coast, leaving all who pass by with visions of a life traveled over 60 years from the farm to the sand. Despite the promise of soft sunny days and a new life that most would think might leave Jay’s songwriting about trials and tribulations behind for coconuts and pretty women, it is obvious that Jay still believes in himself with the conviction of a younger man still trying to make a name. And indeed – on Bikini’s, Mountains, Mules and Moonshine, it is clear that Jay Tinsman still can.
