"Jazz in the Air" is releasing its 5th CD of original music by band leader, songwriter and bassist Bob Sabourin. Featuring some of the finest musicians in the Boston, MA area, Bob has put together a compilation of popular styled jazz tunes melded together to create an easy-to-listen-to flow. The title track, Ecstasy, as well as several of the other tracks on the CD have a popular music sound and feel with rhythms going to funk and RnB roots. August Dance and Quixotic remind one of noveau jazz to be heard by youthful patrons in a trendy popular restaurant. Loved the CD....  used to listen to my Jazz Cds all the time but had gotten away from listening until I picked up "Ecstacy". It brought me back to my "roots"....   I have now been alternating between Ecstasy,  Foul Play, Incognito and Acoustic Alchemy.  This CD holds its own with these other professionals.

Lovin' the new disc

I've enjoyed all of Jazz in the Air's previous CDs, but this one stands out as my favorite. The music is unique and I never get sick of listening to it. The song "Ecstasy" is definitely the most fun and jammin tune on the disc. I can't wait for the 6th album!
