Album Notes

This is our second CD with the purpose of providing backgroud music for players of the Native American Style Flute. From my experience as a Native American Style Flute player, this type of CD has been very hard to find. Because of this, it was composed, arranged, and produced by my son, Jeff Perry, an Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. from which he graduated. This background music has a richness . fullness, and depth which goes far beyond just drums and animal sounds. I find it very enjoyable to utilize such background music upon which to create " my song". It provides a framework and structure which stimules my creativity and attracts the listener of mellow music. In addition to being a "music minus one" CD, it can also be utilized for relaxation and meditation. I find playing with background music very enjoyable.
