Album Notes

This Long awaited solo album by Jeremy Owen features 9 previously unreleased songs. The raw blues of What kind of Woman drifts into the romance of Juliet & Romeo, hits hard with Devil for the Band and staggers into a Rum of Faith. This album also features a special tribute release of Seven Seas Cowboys for the artist’s late brother James A Owen (the true story of the sinking of the Majestic in the Bering sea). Hear the music the way it was written, performed straight up and delivered live.

Rum of Faith Delivers!

Been a fan of Jeremy Owen for many years. Used to see him in clubs around Seattle when he played with Band Name Hollow. This album captures the powerful storytelling, emotion, and intimacy that make him such a talent, but captures it in a new way. His voice is mature and a little world-weary, you sense the pain, and the joy that he's experienced over the years as you listen to these tracks. The stripped down sound of the songs is both fresh and classic. He brings the storytelling ability of a James Taylor or a Cat Stevens alive, but in a new and exciting way! This is a great album.
