Album Notes

Joe's Backyard Band was started because a bunch of musicians with kids wanted to share good musical times with their families and other families. The idea is to create music that kids love but that adults might not even suspect is "kids music"! (And many an unsuspecting grownup has been "fooled" by the band's concerts!)
The songs on Kick Up A Breeze mix styles from blues to old-time folk, to mellow funk (think The Meters) to Island and Latin flavors, to 60's sounding pop, to guitar-driven rock. Guaranteed to put a smile on the face of everyone in the family!
